Model agency Daily Models has been working with Casting42 since October 2022. Co-owner Rikie Vos recommends the system for casting agencies wholeheartedly: 'Casting42 has everything we wanted. We’re so happy we chose this system!'

Rikie Vos worked as a model herself before she set up her own modeling agency together with Joyce Schoenmaker. Their agency Daily Models has been around for five years now and focuses mainly on the commercial market. ‘We stumbled upon Casting42 by accident. We were already looking for a new system, because until recently we had to perform a lot of tasks manually.

For example processing and updating profiles, and setting out requests for castings. We were already in touch with a party in India that would build a system for us, but that didn’t work out. That's when Casting42 contacted us.’

‘Maarten van Casting42 visited us and told us about the system. The features sounded so good that we went for it. We’ve been working with Casting42 since October 2022 and we’re very satisfied. We’re impressed by the number of tasks that we can perform with the help of the system: setting up castings, but also processing profiles, emailing the models and creating and sending sedcards.

Also, we can provide customers with their own access to the system. For example, we have a large client with quite complex requests, who likes to watch the audition videos themselves. Then it’s useful that customers can access the system themselves.’

Forty hours saved

‘We used to work with a different CRM system. First we received photos and other data by email and WeTransfer, then we had to upload everything manually. Now we only have to do the follow-up check ourselves. This saves us a lot of time, I think about forty hours a week!

The models themselves are also very satisfied with this system. We recently conducted a survey among them about the use of the system. It showed that they find the system very clear and that they like being able to quickly update their own data.’

Casting as fast as lightening

‘What also gives a lot of relief in terms of time, is the speed with which we can put out casting requests! We used to spend hours putting out an application. Now it’s often done within fifteen minutes, because all the necessary data is in the system.

Via Casting42, models can also react much faster themselves. That’s not only good for us, but also for our customers. They experience a lot more speed, which is of course good for our competitive position.’



Sedcards

‘We can easily create sedcards in the system, which are PDF brochures of models. If we want to propose available models for a request, we filter the sedcards by 'fully available' and then send our choices to the customer. Another useful feature is that you can also uncheck the availability of someone, if that model turns out not to be available. They then disappear from the sedcard selection.

Previously, we determined the availability of the models by emailing them all. We made folders based on the answers. After that, we would make a manual sedcard: a PowerPoint presentation with the available models. All this took an insane amount of time.’

‘I was pleasantly surprised with the high quality of the collaboration with the Casting42 team. If you go into business with a party, you usually have to wait and see how things turn out. But with Casting42, the service is admirable.

They really listen to us and they act fast. If we run into something, the problem is sometimes solved within a day. And if we have an idea about how something can be improved, they immediately start working on it. We really feel heard and it’s obvious they want the best for their customers.’



Everything we need

‘Currently we’re not missing anything in the system itself. There are so many features; we haven't even used everything yet. For example, we currently use an external messaging tool. But that function is now also available in Casting42, so we want to get started with that too. We’ll also have a look at how we can use media tags. All in all, the system has everything we need and brings us a lot. Especially many saved hours!’
